During humanity's beautiful musical journey every once in a while a rare individual appears who approaches music and communicates his musical vision through his instrument in ways that were deemed impossible heretofore.
Jaco Pastorius (1951 - 1987) was unquestionably one of those individuals and his seminal debut album is as relevant today as it was back then.

Aυτόν δεν τον ήξερα καθόλου, ούτε όνομα ούτε ήχο. Καλός-κι έφυγε νωρίς...
τον ήχο δεν μπορεί να μην τον ξέρεις, δημιούργησε σχολή ο τζάκο τον έχεις σίγουρα ακούσει σε διαφημίσεις, ποπ τραγουδάκια, στον κινηματογράφο - ήταν μέγας και δυστυχώς έφυγε νωρίς (και φυσικά ήταν ο μπασίστας των weather report του κου zawinul)...
απόλαυσέ τον και εδώ, στο birdland του zawinul, την μεγαλύτερή τους επιτυχία το 1978 (μάλλον από την ίδια παράσταση )
