Thanks a lot. And congratulations on the great blog.
Great fun to hear this. When I was a kid bassist Chet Amsterdam lived down the block in Queens and I was friends with his daughter. They were famous in the neighborhood for their car, a tiny German Goggomobil, which was a weird choice for a bassist. They used to find the car moved onto the sidewalk pretty regularly.
ReplyDeleteSuperb post Thank you
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to listen to this record tonight enjoying the food of my Greek wife. Evaristo (Thank you for the side dish)!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Thanks
ReplyDeleteBassist Chet Amsterdam lived down the street from me in Fresh Meadows in the 60s. I used to see him trundling his bass over the Long Island Expressway overpass to get the Q17A bus to the subway for a gig.
ReplyDeletegracias !!
