Have fun and enjoy the music. This effort is made purely out of love for the music, and as jazz lends itself to discussion so nicely don't forget to drop a line; don't be afraid of the keyboard, it won't bite you. Your thoughts, suggestions & contributions are welcome.

oops! I meant traffic feed...
You're welcome MizJ. Your Freudian skip was totally to the point, I prefer to see it as a live jazz feed myself :-)
Your posts are significant. Keep up the good work!
Hi there Jazzman, I love Chuck Mangione and when I have a bit of time I will look through your whole blog. Needless to say I will link your blog to mine for easy access. Thanks mate.
this is the best welcome in Jazz.
thanx for your amazing post and good music.
a see you.
Hello Jazzman. Thank you for broadening my horizons and showing the path to jazz listening nirvana. I would like to contribute, but what?
Anyone can contribute be it links, news, impressions/reviews of jazz concerts, new releases and the like, nothing better than talking jazz between jazz lovers ;-)
Dear Delta,
How about a post dedicated to Humphrey Lyttelton, jazz trumpeter, old Etonian and ex-Guards Officer?
Dear Vapsomallias,
You are absolutely right, the great late Humph was a towering figure of the English media with a charming personalty to boot. If you care to check here, I think you will find the contents most satisfactory.
Thank you d3lta for this super cool blog. I just uploaded this one and thought you might like it.

Good morning.Just came in to say hello.Good morning to our mutual friend Vapsomallias.
Chris
And a very good morning to you Sir -- and of course to our recently deceased friend.
Hi d3lta, congratulations, both the music and the videos are terrific!, so thanks a lot.
By the way, while I had no problem whatsoever in downloading a couple of music files with Rapidshare, I was wondering if there was a way of downloading some of the videos you uploaded on Dailymotion. I tried with Orbit, which seems exactly the correct program, but although it says "video downloaded", when I try to 'open' it on my pc, nothing happens!
Any tips??!!
Trane
Hi trane, although I've never tried downloading from dailymotion, I guess that these should be flash video files, so you need to rename them with the extention *.flv and use appropriate software to decode them like vlc media player or flv player (both freeware), hope that solves it.
Yes, thanks, in fact I just had to use the right program - orbit didnt work. Now everything is fine
Cheers
Trane
Ah yes, Lou Donaldson. Being a trumpet player myself, I became aware of Mr. Donaldson through his work with Art Blakey, which of course included the immortal Clifford Brown (my absolute jazz idol).
nice blog, i am enjoying it. I added you on my blogroll, thx for the tunes!
Hi, great blog. I've just began my own blog about black music and jazz: http://soulyotrosalimentosdelalma.blogspot.com/ I hope you like it and if you want we can change links. Just let me know in my cbox. Thanks very much
Hello d3lta. not sure how I missed your blog before. I just signed up as a 'follower" and will visit often. Thanks for the great job you do here!
Hi Scoredaddy and welcome aboard. Likewise, I missed your excellent blog but this is amended now, it features on my "faces & places" list. Groove on
It's 2010 already?
d3lta,
Can you please repost the link for Lee Morgan's "The Sidewinder" that you originally posted a year ago? The link is dead. Much appreciated. :)
Mike
Great blog.I wondered about if you have checked Eddie Lang and Lonnie Johnson (great stuff have on LP) to see if there were any bad files uploaded. Also I can't find a tutorial on Cuecards 2000.None on Google search and Youtube. Can you direct a computer idiot where to find a way to use (can find iso but not CC2000).Also wondering why you use it and not just burn to flac and upload with meta allready there.I use FreeripMp3 and can make FLAC and upload easily. Why use Iso????
Thanks
Chazz
@Chazz, Messrs Lang & Johnson are in place, just checked. And what do you mean by cuecards 2000? All recent flac uploads have embedded cues, the extra cues are included for convenience, one can do a lot of things with them using the necessary software, cues are the lingua franca of lossless uploads.
I have a blog with the same title :)
Do you cross post at avaxhome? If so I've downloaded 20+ albums from you without saying thanks!
THANK YOU for a wonderful blog and great posts.
Thank you for being together. You are worth gold, and on that occasion, has a gift for you on our blog. I hope you enjoy.
Best regards
